Day 1 – Arrival and check-in at your hotel (Colmar or Obernai)

Day 2 – Colmar and the Alsatian Wine Route

You will start the day with the visit of Colmar, the Alsace wine capital, which has a unique historical and cultural heritage. You will enjoy strolling in the charming Little Venice area and discover its fabulous architectural style.
During the tour, your guide will bring you to carefully selected places where you will taste the finest specialties which have contributed to the gastronomic reputation of Alsace. You will taste one of the best kougelhopfs in the region, a selection of Alsatian charcuteries & foie gras, the famous macarons, chocolates and cakes made by a renowned pastry chef… Cheese and wine lunch in Colmar.
Visite of Eguisheim : Built in concentric circles around a castle, this medieval village will charm you with its picturesque narrow streets, its colorful half-timbered houses, as well as its surrounding vineyards.
Wine tasting in a famous winery of Eguisheim. With 51 Grands Crus and 7 main grape varieties (Riesling, Gewurztraminer, Pinot Gris, Pinot Blanc, Pinot Noir, Sylvaner, Muscat), Alsatian wines are acclaimed all over the world.

Jour 3 : Visit of the Haut-Koenigsbourg castle and the Alsatian Wine Route

Birth place of Sainte-Odile, patron saint of Alsace, Obernai is a charming medieval town. You will discover the richness of its historical center and then continue with the visit of Mittelbergheim, ranked among the « Most Beautiful Villages” in France, with a cellar visit and wine tasting at a winery of a passionate winemaker.
Lunch in a winstub (traditional Alsatian restaurant).
Visit of the Haut-Koenigsbourg castle: The castle is one of the symbols of the Alsatian heritage and a witness to the course of European history. Through the visit, you will become more familiar with the castle architecture, the Middle Ages and the early 20th century restoration by the German Emperor Wilhelm II.
Your day trip ends in Kaysersberg, a beautiful medieval village located between the vineyards and the Vosges mountains.
