Mont Saint-Michel and Saint-Malo offer one of the richest destinations in history
First of all, the spectacular Mount, located on a rock, surrounded by one of the most beautiful bays in the world with a tidal amplitude of more than 14 meters, unique in Europe. Both are classified as World Heritage by Unesco.
At its heart, the abbey has been a place of pilgrimage since its construction began in the 10th century.
Direction Saint Malo along the superb coast. First in Cancale, a small fishing port renowned for its oysters. Then, the Pointe du Grouin, an ornithological reserve overlooking the sea. You arrive in Saint Malo, the corsair city of Surcouff or Duguay Trouin. Its ramparts dominate the bay of Saint Malo and its rampart walk offers an incredible view of the elegant Dinard.
It is from Saint Malo in the 16th century that Jacques Cartier sets out to discover Canada.
