Day 1 : Welcome in the bon vivants’ place !

Arrival in Lille. It’s recommanded to arrive train. Check in at the hotel. Free dinner and evening to experience Lille’s festive atmosphere !

Day 2 : The Old Lille, Euralille and Lille-Fives (with tourguide)

Breakfast. Guided visit of the old town with its picturesque cobbled streets and its emblematic buildings : the Main Square, the Old and the New Stock Exchanges, the Theater, the Cathedral… Free time to relish ambling and shopping. Free lunch in the town center. Guided visit of Euralille, the business district imagined by famous architects such as Rem Koolhaas, Christian de Portzamparc or Jean Nouvel. Then your guide will lead you to the urban quarter Fives and explain how the former factory Fives-Cail has shaped Fives’ organization and urban development. Return to town center by underground. Free dinner and evening. Overnight.

Day 3 : Villa Cavrois and Piscine de Roubaix

Breakfast. Departure to Croix (by suburban railway). Discover the most representative achievement of architect Mallet-Stevens ! The Villa Cavrois is a modernist architectural manifesto. It has been designed between 1929 and 1932 for a textile industrialist, Paul Cavrois, and his family. Departure to Roubaix (by suburban railway). Free lunch. Visit of La Piscine – Museum of Art and Industry André Dilligent. It is installed on the site of the former Art Deco municipal swimming pool. The applied arts collection is displayed in the old pool area with its showers and changing rooms, while the Fine Art collection is settled in the former bath wings. Take time to have a walk in Roubaix ! You will discover how the textile industry has formed the town and its organization. Return to Lille (by underground). Free dinner and evening. Overnight.

Day 4 : Gain height !

Breakfast. Visit of the highest belfry tower in the area ! Enjoy the panoramic view 104 meter high ! Simply astounding ! Departure. End of our services.
