Discovery tour of Normandy & Brittany
If you are dreaming of exploring the stunning coastline of Brittany with its harbours, rugged cliffs, white sand and little marine villages, this tour is for you! Before reaching Brittany, the tour starts in Normandy for a comprehensive discovery of its “must-sees” including the Landing Beaches, Bayeux and Honfleur. In between these two regions we will stop at the Mont St Michel, the “Western Marvel”!

DAY 1 – GIVERNY & ROUEN
Arrival at Paris CDG Airport
Transfer to Giverny for a tour of Monet House and gardens.
Continue to Rouen. Visit of the Panorama XXL built to exhibit 360° giant frescoes.
Dinner and overnight in Rouen
DAY 2 – NORMANDY COASTLINE
Travel to the famous village of Camembert. Visit a cheese factory, learn about the making of the famous cheese and taste it!
In the afternoon we explore the lovely city of Honfleur famous for its old dock and Deauville, famous seaside resort.
Dinner and overnight in Caen / Bayeux
DAY 3 – THE LANDING BEACHES
Morning guided tour of the Landing Beaches with stops in Arromanches, the US cemetery of Omaha Beach and the Pointe du Hoc.
Lunch at local restaurant
Visit of the Memorial de la Paix.
Own arrangements for dinner. Overnight in Caen / Bayeux
DAY 4 – LE MONT ST MICHEL
Travel from Normandy to Brittany with long stop at Le Mont St Michel. Walking tour of the Bay du Mont St Michel followed by a visit the village and the abbey.
Dinner and overnight in Saint Malo
DAY 5 – ST MALO, CANCALE & DINAN
First we explore Saint Malo before heading to Cancale. Visit of the “Ferme Marine”. Thanks to the one-hour guided tour, the history and breeding of this delicious mollusc will have no more secrets for you.
Lunch at local restaurant
Then we explore Dinan still completely encircled by its historic ramparts.
Own arrangements for dinner. Overnight in Saint Malo
DAY 6 – THE PINK GRANITE COAST
This morning we discover two unmissable sites of the Côte d’Émeraude: Cap Fréhel and the imposing Fort la Latte dating back to the 14th century.
In the afternoon we explore the Pink Granite Coast. The area is renowned for its unusual rock formations, the best of which can be found on the coastal path between Perros-Guirec and the port of Ploumanac’h.
Dinner and overnight in Morlaix
DAY 7 –THE FINISTERE
Visit of the Guimiliau Parish Close dating from the 16th and 17th centuries. Then we discover the stunning landscapes of the Crozon Peninsula including the Point of Pen-Hir and the Cape of the Goat. Finally we stop in Locronan, small city of character famous for its 17th century granite mansions.
Dinner and overnight in Quimper
DAY 8 – PONT AVEN, CARNAC & AURAY
Today we explore the south of Brittany. We first stop in Concarneau, famous for its “Ville-close”, an old fortified town dating back to the 15th century. Then we travel to Pont-Aven, best known for its association with the post-Impressionist painter Paul Gauguin.
Lunch at local restaurant
We continue on to Carnac, a spectacular and mysterious site with its 3000 menhirs. Last stop is in Auray where we stroll around the charming port of St Goustan.
Dinner and overnight in Vannes
DAY 9 – MORBIHAN GULF & NANTES
Today we enjoy an invigorating cruise in the Morbihan Gulf with a call at the Ile aux Moines. Time at leisure for own exploration.

DAY 10 – DEPARTURE
Transfer to Nantes for flight to home
