program
Day 1
Beaune – Gevrey-Chambertin
Guided tour of the Hospices de Beaune.
The history of the Hospices Civils de Beaune began in 1443 when Nicolas Rolin and Guigone de Salins decided to build a hospital: the Hôtel-Dieu.
The founders were charitable and patronising, thus establishing a tradition that has enabled the Hospices de Beaune to survive throughout history in exceptional conditions.
Typical Burgundian lunch in Beaune.
Visit of the city by small train.
Ride on the little train.
Board the Visiotrain for a 40-minute ride through the heart of the city, and discover the main sites and monuments of Beaune.
Tasting and guided tour of one of the largest cellars in Burgundy, with a Sommelier-Conseil, followed by a commented tasting in a private cellar of 5 wines.
A labyrinth of 5 km of vaulted galleries dating back to the 13th century, housing millions of bottles. A magical, intense, timeless place… summarising the marriage of wine and culture.
Check-in at the hotel.
Dinner and accommodation.
Day 2
Vougeot – Nuits Saint Georges – Gevrey Chambertin
Departure by coach for a guided tour of the Château du Clos Vougeot.
Located in the heart of the Route des Grands Crus, the Clos de Vougeot castle welcomes history, architecture and wine lovers…
The receptions held in this unique setting are renowned throughout the world.
Although the Château du Clos de Vougeot no longer produces wine, it remains the symbol of almost a thousand years of Burgundy’s history.

Visit of the Cassissium. Come and discover the world of blackcurrants through a guided tour of the Védrenne liquor factory, right next to the museum, during which you will be shown the different stages of production of the famous crème de cassis.
You can then take part in a tasting of the little black berry in various forms: fruit creams, liqueurs and syrups.
Drive to a 17th century family farm.
Discover all its products: jams, drinks and condiments.
In the old workshop, with a glass in your hand, let us tell you the story of this little black berry so closely linked to our family…
By comparing the different aromas of our products, you will learn how, with a little patience and a lot of passion, our blackcurrants are transformed to offer you the crème des crèmes. Tasting session.
