PARIS BY BIKE AND ITS HIDDEN TREASURES

Day 1 Montmartre 17 km

Arrival till noon in Paris, either by plane, train or car. Pick-up with FRANCE A VELO from the train station. The hotel is located in the heart of Montmartre. Check-in. In the afternoon we will discover the beautiful neighborhood of Montmartre by bike.

Day 2 Marais and Cité 31 km

Today the Marais, a former bog, is one of the most beautiful neighborhoods in Paris. Behind every corner we can find a new architectonic sight, picturesque streets and a very typical charm, which will catch you immediately. A vivid and varied quarter, which is almost made to be discovered by bike. One of the most beautiful squares in Paris is located here – Place des Vosges.
Marais is also the center of Jewish life in Paris. Continuation to the ˚Ile de la Cité˝. Cycling along the riverside of the Seine and visit of the Sainte Chapelle with its famous glass windows.

Day 3 Fontainebleau 34 km

A royal day. Let’s go to Fontainebleau!
Transfer outside of Paris and into one of France most beautiful castles: Fontainebleau. Surrounded by a fantastic forest, which was used for royal hunts. Tour through the castle Fontainebleau.
A royal cycling day demands a royal finish! During the delicious dinner, quel plaisir, in a very charming restaurant, the staff transforms into opera singers. A fantastic atmosphere with amazing cuisine. An unforgettable evening.

Day 4 Quartier Canal St Martin 18 km

After a short cycling stage in the morning through the Sunday Paris, we will visit one of the biggest flea markets and antiques markets. Marché aux Puces!
Lunchtime at Lucette! A simple but incredible Guinguettes restaurant, where we can listen to Chansoniers.
In the afternoon we cycle alongside the romantic Canal St Martin and will stop at the eminent cemetery ˚Cimetière du Père Lachaise˝, with many famous tombs and interesting anecdotes.
