Day 2 – Thrills and Plays

Morning departure for the Montagne Noire and the town of Mazamet. A 140m long Himalayan footbridge awaits you over the Arnette gorges. Exceptional views over the valley, access to the medieval village of Hautpoul and thrills are all part of the programme.
Visit the wood and toy house and enjoy a unique experience by following the path from the forest to the tree, from the tree to the wood and from the wood to the toy, with the elves of the Montagne Noire!

Day 3- Underground path and Minervois Marble

A new concept of underground acrobatic course practicable in full safety, from 12 years old ! Take on the great iron staircase on the side of the cliff, 80 m high. Then take the great explorers’ passage to reach the Tyrolean traverse of vertigo and the acrobatic bridge, situated 40 m above the void, to reach the pearl platform. After passing in front of the bat sanctuary, the Nepalese bridge will allow you to dominate the bottom of the large room of the Giant Chasm of Cabrespine.
In the afternoon, discover the marble quarries of Caunes Minervois on foot. Free tour of King Louis XIV old quarry, dotted with marble sculptures. Then discover the medieval village.

Day 4 – Mirepoix – Foix – Montsegur

Drive to Mirepoix and stop in this small town, a bastide that has retained its covered market galleries.
Drive to Foix and visit the castle. If the immersion is complete inside the walls of the medieval fortress, the terraces are not to be outdone! You will discover exceptional war machines, such as the trebuchet or the pierriere and an impressive drum winch, very useful for the building sites of the counts.
Drive to the castle of Montsegur, the last refuge of the Cathars at the time of the crusades.

Day 5 – Departure

Before leaving the region, take a trip to the village of Brousse et Villaret to visit the paper mill where you will make your own sheets of paper to take away with you.
